The best way of getting around throughout New York City is by using the Subway system. Trains go anywhere and everywhere. Manhattan alone has several trains which would take you around the city like the express A and C and E as well as the local 1&9. With the F going through Queens and Q in Brooklyn and A and C through the Bronx as well, the New York Subway system is your cheap ride thoughout your visit through the big apple. At $2 a ride, it'll save you a sufficient amount compared to taxis and they also offer monthly and weekly passes, you decide based on the length of your stay. Weather in New York!

Perhaps the most unpredictable thing about the city of New York is the weather. It can go from gorgeous to gross (or vica versa) in a matter of hours or even minutes. It can be sunny and rainy in the same day as well as cold and warm. When walking the streets of New York City and enjoying yourself, be prepared for any type of precipitation or weather and always check the forecast before heading out (even though they could be wrong)!!!

September 11th!

Today is the 4 year anniversary of one of the more infamous days in U.S. history. All day and night at Ground Zero there will be memorial services and a bunch of other things going on to commemorate the victims of the horrible attacks. All people in New York should go and visit the scene of the horrible acts and devote some time to learn more about this anniversary. Hear stories from witnesses and family and friends of victims. A great thing to do for all tourists and all New York City residents!!!
